During one of the big thunderstorms we had a few weeks ago, I came home pretty late and noticed something flopping around my feet. On closer inspection I saw that it was in fact one of the smallest little toads I have ever seen. I swept him up and stuck him in a jar till the next morning. Then we did a little photoshoot with him. Unfortunately I’m no Herpetologist, so I can’t tell you what he is, other than a very cool subject. All these photos were shot using the 24-70 L lens, which has “macro focus”, I think it worked pretty well, considering how much this little guy jumped about!
